Max Black and His Wild AdventuresMY NAME IS MAX AND I LIVE IN NORTH CAROLINA. I was at home doing my homework when the phone starting ringing nonstop, the computer kept turning on and off, my iPod was playing part of a James Bond movie: “What’s your name son,” “Bond. James Bond.” Over and over again so I looked at my pager and it said ‘Robbery at Hawks diner.’I got on my red motorcycle outside after putting on my helmet. When I was on my way towards the diner I said, “Auto pilot on,” into my helmet. I called some of my friends from the helmet and opened the screen to see them right next to me.When I got there I saw that the place was on fire and yelled, “Sam take care of that! Mike lets find the guy who did this. Conner you see if anyone’s in there along with Liz.”Sam was no longer Sam but known as ICEE. Mike was searching the streets…from the sky. Mike is known as The Golden Hawk. Conner was popping a woman in a red dress and a man in a black tuxedo out of nowhere. Conner is the Night Panther. Liz was fading in and out of the fire when she came out holding a man that used to be dressed in white clothes but now was dressed in a dark gray almost a black. I was on my way over when hawk called in on his headset. He said, “Black! Black! I found him. I repeat I found him!” I hopped on my motorcycle and went to where the signal was coming off of Hawk’s headset. I saw the guys van and said, “Go back Mike listen to me this once and go back.”Surprisingly Mike said, “Okay go get him Black!”I made sure that my gloves were on and said, “A arriver a la feu.” Which means arrive fire come and play. And shot fire at the vans tires, it came to a dead stop. A man jumped out, wearing a gray tuxedo. He was waving a gun and when it stopped it was aimed at my head. I thought ‘DOG’ really quick when the gun went off. I was so…happy to have gotten the power to change into anything I want all I have to do is think of the name of it. When the guy realized he didn’t hit me he looked terrified. I turned human again and kicked the gun out of his hand. I pinned him against his car and handcuffed him to it. The police were on their way and one of them shot at me while I was running away. It hit my shoulder but I had to keep running.Finally I arrived to where the guys were waiting for me. They all looked at my shoulder and were silent. Liz was the first to break the silence. She said, “Your shot.” All I wanted to say was ‘lets go back home’ but then mike thought- oh did I forget to tell you I could read minds? -Let’s go to the one school for mutants. “Mike tell everyone what you just thought.” I said.Mike said, “I was just thinking that we could go and visit the Robin Hood Institute for mutants. Just see how it is and if we don’t like it we start over like we did here.” Sam immediately said, “Yeah! Let’s do it!” Conner thought about it for a minute and then said, “I agree with Sam.”Liz looked at me while saying, “We need to go. Let’s go and get the bikes.” When they got the bikes they set mine on autopilot. I climbed on and it went on its merry way. I looked behind me and saw everyone right there. It took us three hours to get to the Institute. When we go there we found a gate, it asked us for our names, and all I said was, “Were new students.”“You must be Mr. Black and his gang then. Come on in someone is waiting for you at the steps to show you around.”We rode up the paved road, and found the steps. A young girl was waiting there for us. She said, “Hello. You are Mr. Black.” while looking at Sam.Sam laughed and said, “No that’s him.” while pointing at me. I just smiled while climbing off my motorcycle. She looked around and then asked, “Then who are the rest of you?”We stood how we usually do and I said, “That’s Sam on my far right. Mike is next to Sam. Liz is on my far left. Conner is next to her.”“Why didn’t you use your arm to point are you hurt?” she said looking over my arms.Liz answered before I could mutter a single word, “He got shot in his shoulder and we were hoping that someone can help us here. Please help him!” Near the end she was almost in tears I thought that it was an act but then I felt a ping in my heart and knew she actually had a thing for me!Then someone walked out of the Institute. Her eyes got wide and she stopped right where she was when she saw me. After a couple of seconds she ran back inside screaming, “RICHARD!” at the top of her lungs.I looked at the others confused; they just shrugged.“Sally! Will you come and show the new students to there rooms? I have to go to the Intense Training room.” A woman walked out and said, “Sure don’t be late for class, Sparks.” When the young girl named Sparks went away Sally said, “Come with me children I will show you to your rooms. Mr. Black someone in a lab coat may come in with the girl who went screaming down the hall but don’t be worried.” Then she spoke to the whole group agai
